Strongly urges all States to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of humanitarian personnel and United Nations and associated personnel and to respect and ensure respect for the inviolability of United Nations premises, which are essential to the continuation and successful implementation of United Nations operations;

The Committee appeals to all the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention to fulfil their obligations in accordance with common Article 1, which obligates them to respect and to ensure respect for the Convention in all circumstances.
وتناشد اللجنة جميع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة الوفاء بالتزاماتها وفقا للمادة 1 المشتركة، التي تفرض عليها احترام وكفالة احترام الاتفاقية في جميع الظروف.

It may be also useful to recommend to the Commission that it request all Member States in situations of armed conflict to extend standing invitations to thematic mandate holders, within their commitment to " respect and ensure respect " for the Fourth Geneva Convention " in all circumstances " , according to common article 1 of the Geneva Conventions.
وقد يكون من المفيد توصية اللجنة بأن تطلب إلى جميع الدول الأعضاء التي تشهد أوضاع نزاعات مسلحة توجيه دعوات زيارة دائمة للمكلفين بالولايات المواضيعية، وذلك في إطار تعهد هذه الدول ب " احترام وكفالة احترام " اتفاقيات جنيف الأربع " في جميع الظروف " امتثالاً للمادة 1 المشتركة بين اتفاقيات جنيف.
