Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 55/250 of 2 May 2001, the Investigations Division of the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) has conducted a follow-up investigation into possible fee-splitting arrangements between defence counsel and indigent detainees at the International Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
