Table 3 of the annex indicates that the use of retirees in the language services of the Department for General Assembly Affairs and Conference Management have increased, which accounted for 220 engagements over the biennium (32.5 per cent of the total) and 33,539 workdays at a cost of $10.7 million in fees and salaries, making that department the single largest user of retired staff.
