The Legal Subcommittee recalled that the General Assembly, in its resolution 57/116, had noted that the Subcommittee, at its forty-second session, would submit its proposals to the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space for new items to be considered by the Subcommittee at its forty-third session, in 2004.
135- استذكرت اللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن الجمعية العامة لاحظت في قرارها 57/116 أن اللجنة الفرعية القانونية سوف تقدم في دورتها الثانية والأربعين مقترحاتها إلى لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية بشأن بنود جديدة لكي تنظر فيها اللجنة الفرعية إبّان دورتها الثالثة والأربعين في عام 2004.

The Legal Subcommittee recalled that the Committee had welcomed the fact that the Subcommittee had agreed to make a contribution to the deliberations of UNISPACE III on issues relating to the promotion of international cooperation in space-related activities and the development of space law, as well as on other legal issues.
٦٦ - استذكرت اللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن اللجنة كانت قد رحبت باتفاق اللجنة الفرعية على تقديم مساهمة في مداولات اليونيسبيس الثالث بشأن المسائل المتعلقة بتعزيز التعاون الدولي في اﻷنشطة المتصلة بالفضاء وتطوير قانون الفضاء ، وكذلك بشأن مسائل قانونية أخرى .

The Legal Subcommittee recalled that the General Assembly, in its resolution 56/51, had endorsed the recommendation of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space that the Subcommittee consider this agenda item as a regular item and had agreed that the Subcommittee should establish a working group on this item for three years, from 2002 to 2004.
26- استذكرت اللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن الجمعية العامة كانت قد وافقت، في قرارها 56/51، على توصية لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية بأن تنظر اللجنة الفرعية القانونية في هذا البند من جدول الأعمال كبند منتظم، ووافقت على أن تنشئ اللجنة الفرعية فريقا عاملا يعنى بهذا البند لمدة ثلاث سنوات، من عام 2002 الى عام 2004.

119. The Legal Subcommittee recalled that the General Assembly, in its resolution 56/51, had endorsed the recommendation of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space that the Subcommittee continue its review of the concept of the " launching State " , in accordance with the work plan adopted by the Committee, and noted that the Subcommittee would reconvene its working group to consider that item.

131- استذكرت اللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن الجمعية العامة قد لاحظت في قرارها 56/51 أن اللجنة الفرعية القانونية سوف تقدم، في دورتها الحادية والأربعين، اقتراحاتها إلى لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية بشأن البنود الجديدة التي سوف تنظر فيها اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها الثانية والأربعين في عام 2003.

The Legal Subcommittee recalled that the General Assembly, in its resolution 58/89, had endorsed the recommendation of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space that the Subcommittee consider this agenda item as a regular item and had noted that the Subcommittee would reconvene its Working Group with the terms of reference agreed upon by the Subcommittee, to meet for three years, from 2002 to 2004.

At its opening meeting, the Legal Subcommittee recalled that the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space at its fortieth session, in 1997, had adopted new measures concerning the composition of the bureaux of the Committee and its subsidiary bodies, agenda structures and duration of sessions.Official Records of the General Assembly, Fifty-second Session, Supplement No. 20 (A/52/20), annex I.
٢ - وفي جلستها الافتتاحية ، استذكرت اللجنة الفرعية القانونية أن لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية كانت قد اعتمدت في دورتها اﻷربعين تدابير جديدة بشأن تركيبة مكتب اللجنة وهيئتيها الفرعيتين ، وهيكل جداول اﻷعمال ومدة الدورات ،)١( واتفقت اللجنة الفرعية آنذاك على أن يكون فاتسلاف ميكولكا )الجمهورية التشيكية( رئيسا للجنة الفرعية القانونية لمدة السنوات الثلاث اﻷولى .)٢(
