The Programme is aimed at providing in-depth research into space, development of space-related scientific and special-purpose devices, and new technologies and tools for the application of Earth remote sensing data for a variety of purposes.

The Czech delegation participates actively in the deliberations of the Committee and its two subcommittees, in particular in the areas of space debris, the physical nature and technical attributes of geostationary orbits, applications of remote sensing of the Earth and other applications of space technology, as well as on many legal questions.
ويشارك الوفد التشيكي بنشاط في مداولات اللجنة ولجنتيها الفرعيتين، وخصوصا في مجالات الحطام الفضائي والطبيعة الفيزيائية والخصائص التقنية للمدارات الثابتة بالنسبة للأرض، وتطبيقات استشعار الأرض عن بعد وغيرها من تطبيقات تكنولوجيا الفضاء، إضافة إلى كثير من المسائل القانونية.

His delegation endorsed the Committee's conclusion regarding the importance of active international cooperation in the use of remote sensing of the Earth by satellite, in particular through the exchange of experience and technology, and it appreciated the Committee's contribution to the expansion of the peaceful uses of outer space and the development of space law.
وأعرب عن تأييد وفده للاستنتاج الذي خلصت إليه اللجنة بشأن أهمية التعاون الدولي النشط في استخدام استشعار الأرض من بُعد بواسطة السواتل، وبخاصة عن طريق تبادل الخبرة والتكنولوجيا، وعن تقديره لمساهمة اللجنة في توسيع نطاق استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية وتطوير قانون الفضاء.

To promote and intensify international cooperation, especially with regard to the needs of developing countries, a State carrying out remote sensing of the Earth from space shall, upon request, enter into consultations with a State whose territory is sensed in order to make available opportunities for participation and enhance the mutual benefits to be derived therefrom.

The provision of Earth remote sensing data to Ukrainian users is the main activity of the Priroda State Research and Production Centre for Aerospace Information, Earth Remote Sensing and Environmental Monitoring, an enterprise under NSAU management.

Currently, SCRS receives and distributes satellite images from the Land Remote Sensing Satellite (Landsat), SPOT-1, SPOT-2 and SPOT-4, RADARSAT, the Indian Remote Sensing Satellite (IRS-1C and IRS-1D) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellites.
