The Advisory Committee notes from the Secretary-General's report on the United Nations Human Rights Training and Documentation Centre for South-West Asia and the Arab Region (A/68/287) that in conducting its activities, the Centre seeks to ensure gender balance among participants and trainers and has found that this approach contributes to the success of its training sessions and events (para. 20).
10 - وتلاحظ اللجنة الاستشارية، استنادا إلى تقرير الأمين العام عن مركز الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والتوثيق في مجال حقوق الإنسان لجنوب غرب آسيا والمنطقة العربية (A/68/287)، أن المركز يسعى، في إطار القيام بأنشطته، إلى كفالة التوازن بين الجنسين على مستوى المشاركين والمدربين وتبيّن له أن هذا النهج يُسهم في نجاح دوراته وأنشطته التدريبية (الفقرة 20).

In this connection, the Committee also notes from the Secretary-General's report that the Committee on Information was not able to reach any decision on the issue of parity on the web site, requesting another report on the most practical, efficient and cost-effective means of achieving parity for all official languages of the web site (A/57/355, para. 15).
