Permanent representatives of Member States invited to travel on official United Nations business and members of organs and subsidiary organs serving in their personal capacity are entitled to the class immediately below first, irrespective of the duration of the journey.

II. Travel of members of organs and subsidiary organs 72. From 1948, when the first general statement of the principles governing the payment of travel and subsistence expenses to members of organs and subsidiary organs was made by the General Assembly, to date, numerous resolutions have been adopted in this regard.
