Also invites the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its sixty-fifth session a comprehensive study on the impact of the converging world crises on social development, in particular for the achievement of poverty eradication, full and productive employment and decent work for all, and social integration;

26. At its 51st meeting, on 23 November, on the proposal of the Chair, the Committee decided to recommend to the General Assembly that it take note of the comprehensive study on the impact of the converging world crises on social development (A/65/174) (see para. 28).
26 - في الجلسة الحادية والخمسين، المعقودة في 23 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قررت اللجنة، بناء على اقتراح الرئيس, أن توصي الجمعية العامة بأن تحيط علما بالدراسة الشاملة عن أثر الأزمات العالمية المتجمعة على التنمية الاجتماعية (A/65/174) (انظر الفقرة 28).

The General Assembly decides to take note of the comprehensive study on the impact of the converging world crises on social development submitted under the item entitled " Social development " .
تقرر الجمعية العامة أن تحيط علما بالدراسة الشاملة عن أثر الأزمات العالمية المتجمعة على التنمية الاجتماعية() المقدمة في إطار بند جدول الأعمال المعنون " التنمية الاجتماعية " .

19. The document entitled " Comprehensive study on the impact of the converging world crises on social development " (A/65/174) emphasized that the global food, energy, financial and economic crises during the period 2007-2009 had profoundly affected social and economic development, particularly in the least developed countries.
19 - وجاء في الوثيقة المعنونة " دراسة شاملة عن أثر الأزمات العالمية المتجمعة على التنمية الاجتماعية " (A/65/174) أن الأزمات العالمية في مجال الغذاء والطاقة والمال والاقتصاد التي حدثت بين عامي 2007 و 2009 كانت لها آثار بالغة على التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية، وخصوصا في أقل البلدان نموا.

At its sixty-fourth session, the General Assembly invited the Secretary-General to submit to the Assembly at its sixty-fifth session a comprehensive study on the impact of the converging world crises on social development, in particular for the achievement of poverty eradication, full and productive employment and decent work for all, and social integration, and requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the item (resolution 64/135).
وفي الدورة الرابعة والستين، دعت الجمعية العامة الأمين العام إلى أن يقدم إلى الجمعية في دورتها الخامسة والستين دراسة شاملة عن أثر الأزمات العالمية المتجمعة على التنمية الاجتماعية، وبخاصة على تحقيق القضاء على الفقر وإيجاد فرص العمالة الكاملة والمنتجة وتوفير فرص العمل الكريم للجميع والاندماج الاجتماعي، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك البند (القرار 64/135).
