13. At its thirty-third ministerial meeting, held in Bangui in December 2011, the Committee adopted the Declaration on a Road Map for Counter-Terrorism and NonProliferation of arms in Central Africa.

To counter both traditional and emerging threats, the Committee adopted a declaration on a road map for counter-terrorism and non-proliferation of arms in Central Africa.

In accordance with the recommendation made at the thirty-third ministerial meeting of the Committee, the representative of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs gave a briefing on the implementation of the Declaration on a Road Map for Counter-Terrorism and Non-Proliferation of arms in Central Africa.

In that regard, he presented the conclusions of the workshop on counter-terrorism and nonproliferation of arms in Central Africa, held in Brazzaville on 1 and 2 December 2012.

48. The progress made in the implementation of the Road Map for Counter-Terrorism and Non-Proliferation of arms in Central Africa, which was adopted in December 2011 in Bangui through the holding of the Libreville and Bujumbura workshops, is heartening.

Within the framework of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, Member States adopted a Declaration on a Road Map for Counter-Terrorism and Non-proliferation of arms in Central Africa at the 33rd ministerial meeting of the Advisory Committee in December 2011.
وفي إطار لجنة الأمم المتحدة الاستشارية الدائمة المعنية بمسائل الأمن في وسط أفريقيا، اعتمدت الدول الأعضاء، خلال الاجتماع الوزاري الثالث والثلاثين للجنة الاستشارية في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2011، إعلانا بشأن خريطة طريق لمكافحة الإرهاب وعدم انتشار الأسلحة في وسط أفريقيا.

At the same time, the ministers reaffirmed the important need for continued and intensified international support, especially for efforts to halt the proliferation of weapons in Central Africa, to diffuse potentially catastrophic situations and to meet the critical humanitarian needs of millions of refugees and displaced persons in the area.
