The Working Group requested the secretariat to organize at its thirteenth session an in-session workshop on the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and the contributions of annex I parties, individually or jointly, to the reductions.
وطلب إلى الأمانة أن تنظم، في دورته الثالثة عشرة، حلقة عمل أثناء الدورة، بشأن حجم تخفيضات الانبعاثات الذي يجب أن تحققه الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً وإسهامات الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول، منفردة أو مجتمعة، في هذه التخفيضات.

The AWG-KP initiated consideration of the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate as a contribution of these Parties to the overall efforts to meet the ultimate objective of the Convention.

A pre-sessional workshop on forest management accounting will be held on Friday, 30 July, and an in-session workshop on the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and the contribution of Annex I Parties, individually or jointly, to this scale will be held on 2 August.
11- وستُعقد يوم الجمعة 30 تموز/يوليه حلقة عمل سابقة للدورة بشأن المحاسبة المتعلقة بإدارة الغابات، كما ستُعقد في 2 آب/أغسطس حلقة عمل أثناء الدورة بشأن حجم تخفيضات الانبعاثات الذي يتعين أن تحققه الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً وإسهام هذه الأطراف، بصورة فردية ومشتركة، في بلوغ هذا الحجم.

The Chair of the Executive Board of the clean development mechanism (CDM), Mr. Clifford Mahlung (Jamaica), made a presentation on the impact of market-based mechanisms on emission reductions by Annex I Parties in aggregate.
وقدّم السيد كليفورد ماهلونغ (جامايكا)، رئيس المجلس التنفيذي لآلية التنمية النظيفة، عرضا بشأن أثر الآليات القائمة على السوق على تخفيضات الانبعاثات من جانب الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً.

(a) The scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate as well as the contribution of Annex I Parties to this scale;

Parties were invited to submit to the secretariat, if possible by 2 July 2010, their views on the topics to be covered and the organizations/experts to be invited to the in-session workshop at its thirteenth session on the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and the contribution of Annex I Parties, individually or jointly, to this scale.
14- وقد دُعيت الأطراف إلى أن تقدّم إلى الأمانة، ما أمكن بحلول 2 تموز/يوليه 2010، آراءها بشأن المواضيع التي سيجري تناولها والمنظمات/الخبراء الذين سيُدعوْن إلى حلقة العمل المعقودة أثناء الدورة الثالثة عشرة للفريق بشأن حجم تخفيضات الانبعاثات التي يتعين أن تحققها الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً وإسهام هذه الأطراف، بصورة فردية أو مشتركة، في تحقيق هذا الحجم.

Proposals to address the implications of the issues identified in the work programme of the AWG-KP, as specified in paragraph 49 (c) of document FCCC/KP/AWG/2008/8, for the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and for the contribution of Annex I Parties, individually or jointly, to this scale.
(ب) اقتراحات لمعالجة آثار القضايا المحددة في برنامج عمل فريق الالتزامات الإضافية، على النحو المحدد في الفقرة 49(ج) من الوثيقة FCCC/KP/AWG/2008/8، فيما يتعلق بحجم خفض الانبعاثات الذي يجب أن تحققه الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً وإسهام الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول، منفردة أو مجتمعة، في هذا الحجم.

The Chair further recalled that the twelfth session of the AWG-KP would be devoted to further advancing its substantive work, with a particular focus on the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and on the contribution of Annex I Parties to this scale, as well as work on other issues identified at the resumed sixth session of the AWG-KP.
وذكّر الرئيس كذلك بأن الدورة الثانية عشرة لفريق الالتزامات الإضافية ستُخصص للمضي قدما في عمله الموضوعي، مع التركيز بصفة خاصة على حجم خفض الانبعاثات الذي يجب أن تحققه الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً وعلى إسهام هذه الأطراف في تحقيق هذا الحجم، وكذلك على العمل بشأن المسائل الأخرى() المحددة في الدورة السادسة المستأنفة لفريق الالتزامات الإضافية.

To organize, under the guidance of the Chair of the AWG-KP and taking into consideration the views of Parties referred to in paragraph 29 (a) below as well as discussions at the twelfth session of the AWG-KP, an in-session workshop at its thirteenth session on the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and the contribution of Annex I Parties, individually or jointly, to this scale.

The AWG-KP also invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, if possible by 2 July 2010, proposals to address the implications of the issues identified in the work programme of the AWG-KP, as specified in paragraph 49 (c) of document FCCC/KP/AWG/2008/8, for the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate and for the contribution of Annex I Parties, individually or jointly, to this scale.
21- ودعا فريق الالتزامات الإضافية الأطراف أيضاً إلى أن تقدم إلى الأمانة، في موعد أقصاه 2 تموز/يوليه 2010 إن أمكن، اقتراحات لمعالجة آثار القضايا المحددة في برنامج عمل الفريق، على النحو المحدد في الفقرة 49(ج) من الوثيقة FCCC/KP/AWG/2008/8، فيما يتعلق بحجم خفض الانبعاثات الذي يجب أن تحققه الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول إجمالاً وإسهام الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول، منفردة أو مجتمعة، في هذا الحجم.

At the invitation of the Chair of the AWG-KP, the in-session workshop will be opened by Mr. Adrian Macey and facilitated by Mr. Leon Charles (Grenada) and Mr. Jürgen Lefevere (European Union), co-chairs of the contact group on the scale of emission reductions to be achieved by Annex I Parties in aggregate as well as on the contribution of Annex I Parties to this scale.
