2. At its 22nd plenary meeting on 27 May 2005, the Conference decided to add Angola, Uruguay and Zambia to the list of the States parties participating in the Conference.

4. With regard to the financial arrangements, the cost of the Conference of the High Contracting Parties shall be borne by the High Contracting Parties and States not parties participating in the Conference, in accordance with the United Nations scale of assessment adjusted appropriately.
4- وفيما يتعلق بالترتيبات المالية، تتحمل الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية والدول غير الأطراف المشاركة في المؤتمر تكاليف مؤتمر الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية وفقاً لجدول الأمم المتحدة للأنصبة المقررة معدلاً بشكل مناسب.

2. The Temporary President pointed out that, in accordance with rule 6 of the draft rules of procedure (CCW/CONF.IV/2), the Conference should elect a president from among the parties participating in the Conference.
2- ذكّر الرئيس المؤقت بأن المؤتمر مدعو، بموجب المادة 6 من مشروع النظام الداخلي (CCW/CONF.IV/2)، إلى انتخاب رئيس من بين الدول الأطراف المشاركة في المؤتمر.

4- وفيما يتعلق بالترتيبات المالية، تتحمل الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية والدول غير الأطراف المشاركة في المؤتمر تكاليف مؤتمر الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية وفقاً لجدول الأمم المتحدة للأنصبة المقررة معدلاً بشكل مناسب.

Amended rule 3 will read as follows: `The Conference shall elect from among the States parties participating in the Conference a president and three vice-presidents. These officers shall be elected so as to ensure the representative character of the General Committee provided for in rule 7.'
وستكون المادة 3 بصيغتها المعدَّلة على النحو التالي: " ينتخب المؤتمر من بين الدول الأطراف المشاركة في المؤتمر رئيساً وثلاثة نواب للرئيس، وهو يختارهم بطريقة تضمن الطابع التمثيلي لمكتب المؤتمر المؤلف طبقاً للمادة 7 " .
