Management and circulation of information submitted by parties in accordance with their obligations under the Convention:

The decision requested the Secretariat to maintain a consolidated record of the cases in which Parties explained that their situations were the consequence of any one of three of the scenarios and to incorporate that record in the documentation of the Implementation Committee, for informational purposes only, as well as in the Secretariat's report on data submitted by the parties in accordance with Article 7 of the Protocol.

Second, the workload of the Implementation Committee related to matters of compliance with the Protocol's ozone-depleting substance data reporting and control provisions is very large already and, given that the reports submitted by the Parties pursuant to Article 9 do not appear to relate to compliance with control provisions of the Protocol, the Implementation Committee may not wish to undertake a copious review of the Article 9 reports.
