Requests the Secretariat to continue to support the process for the reporting on and assessment and evaluation of the continued need for DDT for disease vector control, as set out in annex I to decision SC-3/2, pursuant to paragraph 6 of part II of Annex B to the Convention, and to assist parties to promote locally safe, effective and affordable alternatives for a sustainable transition away from DDT;
6 - ويطلب إلى الأمانة أن تواصل دعم عملية إعداد تقارير وعمليات تقييم وتقدير بشأن استمرار الحاجة إلى مادة الـ دي دي تي لمكافحة ناقلات الأمراض، على النحو المبين في المرفق الأول بالمقرر ا س-3/2، طبقاً للفقرة 6 من الجزء الثاني للمرفق باء بالاتفاقية، ولمساعدة الأطراف على الترويج لبدائل محلية مأمونة وفعالة ومعقولة التكلفة وسليمة بيئياً من أجل التحوُّل المستدام عن استخدام مادة الــــ دي.
