Actions by States parties in implementing the Convention were given publicity through Law of the Sea information circulars Nos. 34 and 35.

47- والمعلومات المجمعة من البلاغات الوطنية يمكن عرضها بحيث يكون النفاذ إليها أيسر وبطريقة تبين بوضوح التقدم المحرز في الجهود التي تبذلها الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والتحديات التي تواجهها، على السواء.

Pursuant to article 63, paragraph 5, of the Convention, the Conference is to acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention - and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so - through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference.
وعملا بالمادة 63، الفقرة 5 من الاتفاقية، على المؤتمر أن يكتسب المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية - والصعوبات التي تواجهها في ذلك - من خلال المعلومات التي تقدّمها تلك الدول ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه المؤتمر من آليات استعراض تكميلية.

To perform its functions, the Conference must acquire knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and of the difficulties they have encountered in doing so, through information provided by them (art. 63, para. 5).
2- لكي يؤدي المؤتمر وظائفه يجب أن يكتسب المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي اتخذتها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والصعوبات التي واجهتها في سبيل ذلك من خلال ماتوفره من معلومات (المادة 63، الفقرة 5).

For the purpose of achieving those specific objectives, the Conference of the Parties is to acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them (art. 32, para. 4).

National legislation and other measures that have been adopted by parties to implement the Convention.

Article 11.5 of the Convention and paragraph 1 (d) of the annex to the MOU recognize the importance of other sources for funding to support the efforts of parties to implement the Convention.
55- المادة 11-5 من الاتفاقية والفقرة 1(د) من مرفق مذكرة التفاهم تقران أهمية مصادر التمويل الأخرى لدعم الجهود التي تبذلها الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية.

(i) To establish a committee on the regulation, oversight and monitoring of private military and security companies, in accordance with established procedures in international human rights treaties in order to monitor the measures taken by States parties to implement the Convention.
(ط) إنشاء لجنة تعنى بتنظيم الشركات العسكرية والأمنية الخاصة ومراقبتها ورصدها، وفقا للإجراءات المعمول بها في المعاهدات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان من أجل رصد التدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية.
