Cuba supports the holding in 2010 of the second Conference of States parties and signatories to Treaties that Establish Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zones, which will contribute to world efforts towards nuclear disarmament.
وتؤيد كوبا أن يعقد في عام 2009 المؤتمر الثاني للدول الأطراف والموقعة على المعاهدات التي تنشئ مناطق خالية من الأسلحة النووية لأنه سيسهم في جهود العالم نحو نزع السلاح النووي.

7. Encourages the competent authorities of the nuclear-weapon-free-zone treaties to provide assistance to the States parties and signatories to those treaties so as to facilitate the accomplishment of these goals;

As firm supporters of multilateralism, the States parties and signatories to treaties that establish nuclear-weapon-free zones believe that, at the present time, the United Nations is the most appropriate forum and framework for the holding of an event of this nature.

The Second Conference of States parties and signatories to Treaties that Establish Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zones and Mongolia had reaffirmed the conviction that the only guarantee against the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons was their total elimination.
وأعاد المؤتمر الثاني للدول الأطراف والموقعة على معاهدات إنشاء مناطق خالية من الأسلحة النووية ومنغوليا تأكيد القناعة بأن الضمان الوحيد ضد استخدام أو التهديد باستخدام الأسلحة النووية هو إزالتها إزالة كاملة.

163. The States parties support initiatives being taken by States parties and signatories to the treaties of Tlatelolco, Rarotonga, Bangkok and Pelindaba to explore and implement further ways and means of cooperation, in order to promote the common goals of those treaties.

21. The declaration approved at the Conference of States parties and signatories to Treaties that Establish Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zones, held in Tlatelolco, Mexico, was of particular relevance to the Review Conference in demonstrating the efforts of the international community to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
21 - وإن الإعلان الذي تمت الموافقة عليه في مؤتمر الدول الأطراف والموقعة على المعاهدات التي أنشأت المناطق الخالية من الأسلحة النووية، والمعقود في تلاتيلولكو، بالمكسيك تمتّ بصلة خاصة إلى المؤتمر الاستعراضي من حيث أنها تبرهن على الجهود التي يبذلها المجتمع الدولي لمنع انتشار الأسلحة النووية.

To this end, the States parties and signatory to the Treaty urge the nuclear-weapon States to show firm resolve and maximum flexibility and to work together with them in a spirit of amity and cooperation with a view to finding solutions to the remaining issues in the shortest possible time.
ووصولا الى هذه الغاية، تحث الدول الأطراف والموقعة على المعاهدة الدول الحائزة لأسلحة نووية على أن تبدي عزما ثابتا ومرونة قصوى وأن تعمل معها بروح من الود والتعاون بغية ايجاد حلول للمسائل المتبقية في أقرب وقت ممكن.
