Pursuant to decisions 11/COP.9 and 13/COP.9, the secretariat and the Global Mechanism (GM), in accordance with their respective mandates, prepared preliminary analyses of information contained in the reports from country Parties and other reporting entities for the period 2010 - 2011.

1. The overall objective of this report is to present and analyse the financial flows for the implementation of the Convention, on the basis of the information made available by country Parties and other reporting entities through the Standard Financial Annex (SFA) and Programme and Project Sheet (PPS) for the 2010 - 2011 biennium.
1- الهدف العام من هذا التقرير هو عرض وتحليل التدفقات المالية المتعلِّقة بتنفيذ الاتفاقية، استناداً إلى المعلومات المتاحة من البلدان الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلغة عن طريق المرفق المالي الموحد وورقة البرامج والمشاريع لفترة السنتين 2010-2011.

52. In order to provide a more comprehensive overview of the type of investments realized in the reporting biennium towards the implementation of the Convention, a number of complementary analyses have been conducted on the additional information submitted by country Parties and other reporting entities through the PPS template.
52- بغية تقديم نبذة أشمل عن نوع الاستثمارات التي نُفذت في فترة سنتي الإبلاغ من أجل تنفيذ الاتفاقية، أجري عدد من التحليلات التكميلية استناداً إلى المعلومات الإضافية المقدمة من البلدان الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلغة عن طريق نموذج ورقة البرامج والمشاريع.

13. Decision 11/COP.9 states that the CRIC shall undertake an assessment of implementation of the Convention and The Strategy through the review of information provided by Parties and other reporting entities.
13- ينص المقرر 11/م أ-9() على أن تجري اللجنة تقييماً لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والاستراتيجية عن طريق استعراض المعلومات التي تقدمها الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلغة.

7. Decides that the CRIC should undertake its assessment of implementation in 2010 and 2012 and its performance review in 2011 and 2013, using information obtained from reports submitted by Parties and other reporting entities with the aim of producing targeted recommendations and draft decisions for consideration by the COP;
7- يقرر أن تضطلع لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية بتقييم التنفيذ في عامي 2010 و2012 وباستعراض الأداء في عامي 2011 و2013، مستخدمةً في ذلك المعلومات الواردة في تقارير الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلغة بهدف التوصل إلى توصيات ومشاريع مقررات هادفة تُعرض على مؤتمر الأطراف كي ينظر فيها؛

17. Decision 13/COP.9 takes note of the terminology and definitions proposed in document ICCD/CRIC(8)/5/Add.3 and invites Parties and other reporting entities to refer to the terminology and definitions included therein when reporting to the COP.
17- ويحيط مؤتمر الأطراف علماً، في المقرر 13/م أ-9() بالمصطلحات والتعاريف المقترحة في الوثيقة ICCD/CRIC(8)/5/Add.3()، ويدعو الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلغة إلى الرجوع إلى المصطلحات والتعاريف الواردة في هذه الوثيقة عند تقديم تقاريرها إلى مؤتمر الأطراف.
