وقد يود مجلس الأمن تشجيع الدول الأعضاء على أن تقوم طوعا بموافاة الأمم المتحدة بمعلومات عامة عن العلامات التي يضعها على ذخائر الأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة المصنعون الخاضعون لولايتها القضائية، وكذلك عن العلامات الموضوعة على الذخيرة المستردة بسبب الاستخدام غير المشروع.

We take this opportunity to urge once again that Member States undertake a radical reform of the Security Council that will transform it into the transparent, participatory and democratic organ that the international community needs in its efforts to strengthen the rule of law at the international level.
ونغتنم هذه الفرصة لنحث مرة أخرى الدول الأعضاء على أن تقوم بإدخال إصلاحات جذرية على مجلس الأمن من شأنها أن تحوله إلى جهاز يتسم بالشفافية والمشاركة والديمقراطية يحتاج إليه المجتمع الدولي في الجهود التي يبذلها لتعزيز سيادة القانون على الصعيد الدولي.
