As a means of addressing the backlog in volume III, it was decided to examine whether it would be possible to identify " overlapping " studies of the Repertoire and the Repertory in order to make cross-references in the Repertory to the relevant volumes of the Repertoire, where appropriate.

It was recalled that the General Assembly, in its resolution 64/115, had reiterated its call upon States to make voluntary contributions to the trust fund for the elimination of the backlog in the Repertory, and appreciation was expressed to those States that had made contributions thus far.
