By the same decision the COP invited Parties and civil society, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and research institutions to submit to the secretariat success stories of field activities on synergies, and requested the Secretariat to prepare a compilation of the submissions received and to submit it to the COP at its eighth session.

COP 17 requested developed country Parties to submit their first biennial reports to the secretariat by 1 January 2014, and requested the Secretariat to prepare a compilation and synthesis report on the information contained therein for consideration at COP 20 and subsequent sessions.
وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته السابعة عشرة() إلى البلدان المتقدمة الأطراف أن تقدم تقارير فترة السنتين إلى الأمانة بحلول 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014، وطلب إلى الأمانة أن تعد تجميعاً وتقريراً توليفياً للمعلومات التي تقدمها هذه البلدان كي ينظر فيها مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته العشرين وفي دوراته اللاحقة.
