7. Set out below is the information requested by the General Assembly on the status of implementation of recommendations contained in the report of the Board of Auditors on the United Nations for the biennium ended 31 December 2011 (A/67/5 (Vol.

12. Mr. Baez (Chief, Policy and Oversight Coordination Service), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the programme performance of the United Nations for the biennium 2010-2011 (A/67/77), said that, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 61/245, responsibility for the preparation of the programme performance report had been transferred from OIOS to the Department of Management.

Requests the Board of Auditors, when auditing the accounts of the United Nations for the biennium 2000-2001, to pay particular attention to expenditure sections with overexpenditures which were approved in General Assembly resolution 56/240 A of 24 December 2001 as well as sections with large amounts of unliquidated obligations to ensure their validity;
2 - تطلب من مجلس مراجعي الحسابات أن يولي عناية خاصة، لدى مراجعة حسابات الأمم المتحدة عن فترة السنتين 2000-2001، لأبواب النفقات التي بها نفقات تزيد عن اللازم وُوفق عليها في قرار الجمعية العامة 56/240 ألف المؤرخ 24 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001، وكذا الأبواب التي بها مبالغ ضخمة من الالتزامات غير المصفاة، وذلك للتأكد من صحتها؛

90. As reported in paragraph 77 of the report of the Secretary-General on the implementation of the recommendations of the Board of Auditors contained in its reports on the United Nations for the biennium ended 31 December 2011 and on the capital master plan for the year ended 31 December 2011 (A/67/319), the Administration considers this recommendation to have been implemented and requests its closure by the Board.
