The United Nations Voluntary Fund on Disability was continuing to support innovative initiatives for implementation of the Convention and in December 2011, the Department had joined several other United Nations entities in launching the new Multi-Donor Trust Fund of the United Nations Partnership to Promote the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
