1. Notes the need for recourse to consultancy services for the implementation of the programme of work and requests the Secretary-General of UNCTAD to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of such resources;

3. Requests the Secretary-General of UNCTAD to ensure the greatest possible dissemination of the outcomes of the expert meetings, in particular to government policymakers;

It notes with concern, however, that such funding is still largely insufficient, and therefore requests the Secretary-General of UNCTAD to redouble his efforts in this endeavour, and invites all countries in a position to do so to contribute to this fund;
