13. In order to enhance the support capacity of the Sectors Administrative Offices, it is proposed to increase the overall personnel establishment of the Office by nine posts.

45. The Sector Administrative Offices would coordinate administrative activities at each of the two sectors (east and west sectors), at three military bases and at the Liaison Office in Beirut.

The staffing of the Sector Administrative Offices is primarily composed of national posts for Language Assistants/Interpreters that support the military personnel throughout the area of operations.

The Service would comprise the Integrated Training Unit, the HIV/AIDS Unit, the Contracts Management Section, the Finance Section, the Personnel Section, the Procurement Section, the General Services Section and the Sector Administrative offices.

72. In addition, it is proposed that an existing post of Language Assistant (national General Service) be reassigned from the Sector Administrative Offices to the Office of the Chief of Integrated Support Services.

UNIFIL completed the review of its organizational structure for optimal use of human resources, which led to the modification of the support system to the sectors and the dissolution of the Sector Administrative Offices and the abolishment of 93 national posts and 7 international posts in the 2010/11 period.

80. Finally, it is proposed that 16 posts performing engineering-related functions (Painters, Masons, Electricians, Welders, Carpenters, Generator Mechanics and Sanitation Technicians) (national General Service) be redeployed from the Sector Administrative Offices, whose structure is proposed for abolishment.

86. It is also proposed that seven existing posts, comprising four Vehicle Mechanics, two Stores Assistants and one Office Assistant (national General Service), be redeployed from the Sector Administrative Offices, taking into account the proposed abolishment of the Sector Administrative Offices and the fact that the management of these posts had been under the Transport Section.
86 - ويقترح أيضاً أن تنقل سبع وظائف حالية، وهي تشمل 4 مصلحي سيارات، ومساعدين اثنين لشؤون المخازن ومساعد واحد للأعمال المكتبية (فئة الخدمة العامة الوطنية) من المكاتب الإدارية للقطاعات، مع مراعاة الإلغاء المقترح للمكاتب الإدارية للقطاعات وكون إدارة هذه الوظائف كانت تحت إشراف قسم النقل.

(g) In UNIFIL, a net decrease of 6 international posts and 92 national posts is the result of the rationalization of the UNIFIL organizational structure through the proposed dissolution of Sector Administrative Offices and the abolishment of 2 temporary positions in the strategic military cell;
(ز) وفي قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان، سجل نقصان صاف قوامه 6 وظائف دولية و 92 وظيفة وطنية نتيجة لترشيد الهيكل التنظيمي للقوة من خلال اقتراح حل المكاتب الإدارية للقطاعات وإلغاء وظيفتين مؤقتتين في الخلية العسكرية الاستراتيجية؛

(g) In UNIFIL, a net decrease of 1 international post in the Operations component and 9 national posts as a result of the abolishment of 35 national language assistants in the Sector Administrative Offices who were providing language support to military contingents as their support would no longer be required, partly offset by 26 additional national posts for technical support for the expansion of the Force headquarters;
(ز) في قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان، انخفاض صاف بوظيفة دولية واحدة في عنصر العمليات وتسع وظائف وطنية نتيجة لإنشاء 35 وظيفة لمساعدين لغويين وطنيين في المكاتب الإدارية للقطاعات من الذين لم تعد ثمة حاجة إلى الدعم الذي يقدمونه، ويقابل ذلك في جانب منه إنشاء 26 وظيفة وطنية إضافية للدعم التقني لتوسيع مقر القوة؛
