The High-level Panel on United Nations system-wide coherence in the Areas of Development, Humanitarian Assistance and the Environment that the Secretary-General has established in response to the 2005 World Summit is expected to make proposals and recommendations that can serve to significantly strengthen the ongoing efforts of the system in that regard.
