Chapter IV discusses the proposed linkages with other institutional arrangements under and outside the Convention.

10. The TEC, in response to the request by the COP referred to in paragraph 3 above, further elaborated its modalities on linkages with other institutional arrangements under and outside the Convention at its 2nd meeting.

(d) There is a need to engage financial and business communities and funding sources under and outside the Convention to facilitate the implementation of the TNA outcomes.

The SBI and the SBSTA invited the TEC to further elaborate and fine-tune its initial ideas on modalities on linkages with the institutional arrangements under and outside the Convention as set out in annex II of the report referred to in paragraph 172 above.

Some Parties indicated that a large amount of support already exists for adaptation planning, and that this existing financial and technical support is undertaken through a variety of channels (including bilateral and multilateral channels), from a variety of sources (inside and outside the Convention), and in different sectors.

84. At their thirty-sixth sessions, the SBI and the SBSTA invited the TEC to further elaborate and fine-tune its initial ideas on modalities on linkages with the institutional arrangements under and outside the Convention.

30. At their thirty-sixth sessions, the SBSTA and the SBI invited the TEC to further elaborate and fine-tune its initial ideas on modalities on linkages with the institutional arrangements under and outside the Convention.
30- ودعت الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية والهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ، أثناء الدورة السادسة والثلاثين لكل منهما، اللجنة التنفيذية المعنية بالتكنولوجيا إلى مواصلة توضيح وصقل أفكارها الأولية بشأن طرائق إيجاد أوجه ترابط مع الترتيبات المؤسسية الأخرى داخل الاتفاقية وخارجها().

133. The SBSTA and the SBI invited the TEC to further strengthen the linkages with organizations inside and outside the Convention, as referred to in document FCCC/SB/2012/1, annex II, paragraph 3, which undertake work relating to enabling environments for and barriers to the development and transfer of technology, including those issues referred to in document FCCC/SB/2012/2, paragraph 35.
