In addition, the Department, in cooperation with its partners within the International Annual Meeting on Language Arrangements, Documentation and Publications, has been undertaking efforts to launch the Consortium of African Universities, including an interpreter training programme, based in Nairobi, to be piloted in several universities in sub-Saharan Africa.
