As today's meeting is the last under the Ukrainian presidency, I would like to present you with some final conclusions.

Only the final conclusions of the Hamburg Court, were problematic, i.e. that the testimonies were admissible in a criminal trial owing to the fact that the veracity of the torture allegations, because of the non-cooperative attitude of the respective United States and German Government authorities, could not be fully established.

IV. final conclusions and pledge

29. Ms. Chan Yu Ping (Singapore) noted that although the Special Rapporteur had recommended that the United Nations should establish a commission of inquiry into crimes against humanity in Myanmar, he had not included that measure among the final conclusions and recommendations of his report (A/65/368).
