Mr. Mselle (Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions), introducing the Advisory Committee’s report on the United Nations pension system (A/53/511), said that the Advisory Committee agreed with the Committee of Actuaries and the Pension Board that the present contribution rate of 23.7 per cent of pensionable remuneration should be retained.
