1. Since UNCLOS entered into force in November 1994, there has been increased focus within UNDP on assistance to countries in the responsible management of their 200-mile exclusive economic zones in line with the Convention.
١ - كان هناك، منذ دخول اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لقانون البحار )الاتفاقية( حيز النفاذ في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٤، تركيز متزايد داخل برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي )البرنامج( على تقديم المساعدة الى البلدان من أجل اﻹدارة المسؤولة لمناطقها الاقتصادية الخالصة التي تمتد الى مسافة ٢٠٠ ميل تمشيا مع الاتفاقية.

Nicaragua also asked the Court " to determine the course of the single maritime boundary between the areas of continental shelf and exclusive economic zone appertaining respectively to Nicaragua and Colombia, in accordance with equitable principles and relevant circumstances recognized by general international law as applicable to such a delimitation of a single maritime boundary " .9
كما طلبت نيكاراغوا إلى المحكمة ' ' أن تقرر مسار خط الحدود البحرية الوحيد بين مناطق الجرف القاري والمنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة التي تعود تباعا إلى نيكاراغوا وكولومبيا، وذلك وفقا لمبادئ الإنصاف والظروف ذات الصلة التي يقر القانون الدولي العمومي بأنها تسري على تعيين خط حدود بحرية وحيد " (9).

6. Urges the Administering Authority to assist the maritime authorities of the Trust Territory in strengthening the existing legislation concerning the exploitation, management and conservation of a 200-mile exclusive economic zone, and reaffirms its conviction that the rights of the people of Palau over such a zone should be respected and that they should receive all benefits deriving from it;
٦ - تحث السلطة القائمة بالادارة على تقديم المساعدة الى السلطات البحرية في الاقليم المشمول بالوصاية في تعزيز التشريعات القائمة فيما يتعلق باستغلال المنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة التي تمتد مسافة ٠٠٢ ميل وادارة هذه المنطقة وصونها، وتؤكد من جديد اعتقادها بوجوب احترام حقوق شعب بالاو في هذه المنطقة وأن يحصل هذا الشعب على جميع الفوائد المستمدة من المنطقة؛

10. To affirm Lebanon's rejection of the geographical coordinates lodged by the Mission of Israel to the United Nations concerning the northern portion of the regional waters and exclusive economic zone which it claims belongs to Israel, inasmuch as Israel is clearly violating and encroaching on Lebanon's sovereignty and economic rights in Lebanon's territorial waters and exclusive economic zone, seizing therefrom an area exceeding 860 km².
10 - التأكيد على رفض لبنان للإحداثيات الجغرافية التي أودعتها بعثة إسرائيل في الأمم المتحدة والعائدة للجزء الشمالي من المياه الإقليمية والمنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة التي تدعي إسرائيل أنها تابعة لها، حيث إسرائيل تنتهك وتعتدي بشكلٍ واضح على حقوق لبنان السيادية والاقتصادية في مياهه الإقليمية ومنطقته الاقتصادية الخالصة وتقتطع منهما مساحة أكثر من 860 كلم2.
