The rise of powerful regional groupings in other regions of the world has been a spur and the signing of the Treaty Establishing the African Economic Community, for the progressive creation of the Community at the latest by the year 2025, testifies to that development.
وكانت نشأة تجمعات اقليمية قوية في مناطق أخرى من العالم حافزا لها مثلما كان توقيع معاهدة الانشاء المضطرد للاتحاد الاقتصادي الافريقي في موعد غايته سنة ٢٠٢٥ شهادة على ذلك التطور.

Article 79 of the Treaty Establishing the African Economic Community invites member States to accord special treatment to least developed, land-locked, semi-land-locked and island countries.
وتدعو المادة ٧٩ من المعاهدة المنشئة للاتحاد الاقتصادي الافريقي الدول اﻷعضاء الى منح معاملة خاصة ﻷقل البلدان نموا، وللبلدان غير الساحلية، وللبلدان التي تكاد تكون غير ساحلية، والبلدان الجزرية.

The establishment of the African Economic Community will meet Africa's need for an instrument for functional cooperation which can harmonize development and cooperation between the States of this continent, the breadbasket of the world.
إن إنشاء الاتحاد الاقتصادي الافريقي سيفي بحاجة افريقيا إلى إيجاد أداة للتعاون الفعال الذي يستطيع أن يحقق توافق التنمية والتعاون بين دول هذه القارة، المنتجة لحبوب العالم.

It is significant that at this meeting all the Heads of State of Africa evidenced their interest in the implementation of the Abuja agreements, which led to the establishment of the African Economic Community.
ومن المهم أن جميع رؤساء الدول في افريقيا أظهروا في هذا الاجتماع رغبتهم في تنفيذ اتفاقات أبوجا التي أفضت الى انشاء الاتحاد الاقتصادي الافريقي.

African Economic development has to be considered in the context of an increasingly globalized world economy.
٤١- ويتعين النظر في التنويع الاقتصادي الافريقي في سياق اقتصاد عالمي متزايد الشمولية.

Not only does the Plan reflect the objectives of the New Agenda, but it also integrates Africa's own regional strategies and other major global action programmes, including the Abuja Treaty Establishing the African Economic Community.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has followed the policy of African Economic integration laid down by OAU when providing assistance to African civil aviation and airport authorities in upgrading their efficiency, financing required equipment and maintaining a high level of competence among their staff.
٦٨ - اتبعت منظمة الطيران المدني الدولي سياسة التكامل الاقتصادي الافريقي التي أرستها منظمة الوحدة الافريقية وذلك لدى تقديم مساعدتها لسلطات الطيران المدني والمطارات الافريقية بهدف رفع مستوى كفاءتها، وتمويل المعدات المطلوبة والحفاظ على مستوى رفيع من الكفاءة لموظفيها.
