Following a recession during the second and third quarters, there was a noticeable recovery in the fourth quarter, which led to a rise in gross domestic product (GDP), so that the year ended with real growth of 4.2 per cent as compared to 1991.
٧ - تطور الاقتصاد اللبناني بطريقة غير متوازنة في عام ١٩٩٢، فبعد انتكاس على مدى الفصلين الثاني والثالث، حدث انتعاش ملحوظ في الفصل الرابع أدى الى زيادة الناتج المحلي الاجمالي بحيث انتهى العام بحدوث نمو حقيقي قدره ٤,٢ في المائة بالمقارنة بعام ١٩٩١.

44. The Meeting emphasized the continuation of support for the modernization and development of the Lebanese economy as expressed during the International Arab Conference for the support of Lebanon (Paris-3) and urged the participating States and funds to finalize the implementation of its commitments.

وتشكل هذه التهديدات انتهاكا صارخاً للقوانين والأعراف الدولية، كما وأنها تشيع جواً من التوتر ومن عدم الاستقرار ينسحب بتداعياته السلبية على الاقتصاد اللبناني وثقة المستثمرين في لبنان، سيما وأنها تأتي في ظل إصرار إسرائيل على الاستمرار في احتلالها للأراضي اللبنانية وذلك في انتهاك صارخ لقرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي وأهما القراران 425 و 1701 وهي تحدّ للشرعية الدولية.

59. The Lebanese Government presented its economic reform programme at the Paris III conference in 2007. The programme included ambitious targets to tackle sources of weakness in the Lebanese economy, essentially by reducing the high level of public debt, encouraging growth and creating employment opportunities while also reducing the impact of such measures on the least able groups by means of a parallel social action programme.
59- قدمت الحكومة اللبنانية برنامجها الإصلاحي الاقتصادي خلال مؤتمر باريس 3 في العام 2007 الذي تضمن أهدافاً طموحةً لمعالجة مواطن الضعف في الاقتصاد اللبناني تمثّلت بشكل أساسي في تخفيض المستوى العالي من الدين العام، تحفيز النمو وخلق فرص العمل، والتخفيف من وقع البرنامج الإصلاحيّ على الفئات الأقل قدرة من خلال برنامج عمل اجتماعي يتم تحقيقه بالتوازي مع الإصلاحات الاقتصادية.
