8. At the 44th plenary meeting, on 28 July, the Council adopted the draft resolution entitled " Monitoring the transition to democracy in South Africa " , recommended by the Committee (E/1993/108, para. 98, draft resolution II). For the final text, see Council resolution 1993/45.
٨ - في الجلسة العامة ٤٤ المعقودة في ٢٨ تموز/يوليه، اعتمد المجلس مشروع القرار المعنون " رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب افريقيا " الذي أوصت به اللجنة )E/1993/108، الفقرة ٩٨، مشروع القرار الثاني(. وللاطلاع على النص النهائي، انظر قرار المجلس ١٩٩٣/٤٥.

At its 42nd plenary meeting, on 22 July 1994, the Council, noting Commission on Human Rights resolution 1994/8 of 18 February 1994, 23/ approved the Commission's request to the Special Rapporteur to undertake two missions to South Africa in 1994 to gain further insight into the whole process of transition to democracy in South Africa and to report to the Commission at its fifty-first session.
وافق المجلس، في جلسته العامة ٤٢ المعقودة في ٢٢ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤، بعد أن أشار إلى قرار لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان ١٩٩٤/٨ المؤرخ ١٨ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤)٢٣(، على طلب اللجنة من المقررة الخاصة الاضطلاع ببعثتين إلى جنوب افريقيا في غضون ١٩٩٤ لزيادة التبصر في كامل عملية الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب افريقيا وتقديم تقرير إلى اللجنة في دورتها الحادية والخمسين.
