The Council requested the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to dispatch urgently a mission to the Syrian Arab Republic to investigate all alleged violations of international human rights law and to establish the facts and circumstances of such violations and of the crimes perpetrated, with a view to avoiding impunity and ensuring full accountability.
3- ورجا المجلس مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان (المفوضية) أن ترسل بصورة عاجلة بعثة إلى الجمهورية العربية السورية للتحقيق في جميع الانتهاكات المزعومة للقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان ولإثبات وقائع وظروف مثل هذه الانتهاكات والجرائم المرتكبة، بغية تجنب الإفلات من العقاب وضمان المحاسبة الكاملة.

The Human Rights Council, in its resolution S-16/1, , requested OHCHR to deploy a mission to the Syrian Arab Republic to investigate all alleged violations of international human rights law and to establish the facts and circumstances of such violations and of the crimes perpetrated, with a view to avoiding impunity and ensuring full accountability.
30- وطلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان، في قراره دإ-16/1، إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن ترسل بعثة إلى الجمهورية العربية السورية للتحقيق في جميع الانتهاكات المزعومة للقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان ولإثبات وقائع وظروف مثل هذه الانتهاكات والجرائم المرتكبة، بغية تجنب الإفلات من العقاب وضمان المحاسبة الكاملة.

25. On 29 April 2011, the Human Rights Council requested OHCHR to urgently dispatch a mission to investigate all alleged violations of international human rights law in Syria, and urged the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic to cooperate fully with and grant access to personnel from the mission.
25- وفي 29 نيسان/أبريل 2011، طلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان إلى المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن ترسل بصورة عاجلة بعثة إلى الجمهورية العربية السورية للتحقيق في جميع الانتهاكات المزعومة للقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان في البلد، وحث الحكومة على أن تتعاون تعاوناً كاملاً مع أفراد البعثة الموفدة وأن تتيح لهم إمكانية الوصول(47).

1. The independent international commission of inquiry, established pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution S-17/1 to investigate all alleged violations of international human rights law since March 2011 in the Syrian Arab Republic, continued to investigate alleged violations of international human rights law and sought to establish the facts and circumstances that may amount to such violations.
1- واصلت لجنة التحقيق الدولية المستقلة، المنشأة عملاً بقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان دإ-17/1 للتحقيق في جميع الانتهاكات المزعومة للقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان منذ شهر آذار/مارس 2011 في الجمهورية العربية السورية()، التحقيق في الانتهاكات المزعومة للقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان وسعت إلى إثبات الوقائع والملابسات التي قد ترقى إلى مثل هذه الانتهاكات.

Similarly, in 2011, the International Commission of Inquiry to investigate all alleged violations of international human rights law in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya highlighted incidents of serious attacks on journalists and other media professionals, including arbitrary arrest, torture, ill-treatment, harassment, intimidation and enforced disappearances, as well as, in some cases, targeted attacks.
