They will guide affected country Parties in the implementation of action programmes as well as orient developed country Parties and other UNCCD stakeholders in supportive actions to be taken.

18. Furthermore, by its decision 5/COP.3 the COP requested the secretariat to provide at forthcoming sessions of the COP a synthesis by each subregion, with the aim of preparing a comparative document on the progress made by affected country Parties in the implementation of the Convention.
18- وعلاوةً على ذلك، طلب مؤتمر الأطراف من الأمانة، في مقرره 5/م أ-3، أن تقدم إلى دورات مؤتمر الأطراف التالية تقريراً توليفياً حسب كل منطقة من المناطق الفرعية، بهدف إعداد وثيقة مقارنة عن التقدم الذي أحرزته البلدان الأطراف المتأثرة في تنفيذ الاتفاقية.
