The Commission noted that Unidroit was preparing a draft model law on Leasing (the " draft Unidroit model law " ) that would cover both operating and financial leases (i.e. leases serving security purposes), which were addressed in the draft UNCITRAL legislative guide on secured transactions as acquisition financing devices.
