وإذ تحيط علما بالالتزام بتحقيق التكامل بين التخطيط والإدارة الحضريين فيما يتعلق بالإسكان، والنقل، وفــرص العمالـــة، والظـــروف البيئيــــة، والمرافـــق المجتمعية، وإذ تحيط علمــا كذلك بالالتـــزام، حســب الاقتضاء، بتعزيـــز تحسيــن حالــة المستوطنات العشوائية والأحيـــاء الحضريـــة الفقيرة بوصف ذلك تدبيرا ملائما وحــلا عمليا للنقص في المأوى الحضري،

(n) Incorporate disaster risk assessments into the urban planning and management of disaster-prone human settlements, in particular highly populated areas and quickly urbanizing settlements.
(ن) إدمـاج تقييمـات خطـر الكوارث في التخطيط والإدارة الحضريين للمستوطنات البشرية المعرّضة للكوارث، وبخاصة للمناطق الكثيفة السكان وللمستوطنات السريعة التحضُّر.

The strategic goal of UN-Habitat in the coming years was to promote the role of urbanization in achieving sustainable development, building on the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, which recognized that integrated urban planning and management could promote prosperity and jobs for future generations.
