I also express my appreciation to Mr. Treki for his work over the past year, and my thanks to the Secretary-General and the United Nations agencies for their help, advice and expertise.
كما أعرب عن مشاعر التقدير للسيد التريكي على ما قام به من عمل خلال العام المنصرم، وعن شكري للأمين العام ولوكالات الأمم المتحدة لما قدموه من مساعدة ومشورة وخبرة.

I know that Mr. Treki assumes this honour with the same passion and determination that have inspired my presidency.
وأدرك أن السيد التريكي يتقلد هذا الشرف بالقدر ذاته من الحماس والإصرار اللذين ألهما فترة رئاستي.

The fact that Mr. Treki has served in New York at various points in time is testimony that his election could not have come at a better time.
وكون السيد التريكي قد عمل في نيويورك في مراحل زمنية مختلفة يبين أن انتخابه لم يكن ليأتي في وقت أفضل.

On behalf of the African Group, I would like to reach out to Mr. Treki and assure him of the full cooperation of the Group as he carries out his day-to-day duties.
ونيابة عن المجموعة الأفريقية، أود أن أخاطب السيد التريكي مؤكدا له التعاون الكامل من المجموعة في أداء مهامه اليومية.

Allow me, furthermore, to present my warm congratulations on the election of Ali Treki as President of the sixty-fourth session of the General Assembly.

Mr. Treki is presiding over the work of the Assembly at a critical time.

I reiterate my delegation's confidence in President Treki's leadership in this endeavour.
