In its resolution 67/254 A, the General Assembly noted that the cost of the remediation work was expected to be reimbursed under the terms of the insurance policies held by the United Nations up to an estimated amount of $137,851,400 and authorized the Secretary-General to enter into commitments in the biennium 2012-2013 of up to $131,421,300 to enable remediation work.
ولاحظت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 67/254 ألف أن تكلفة أعمال الإصلاح المتوقع استردادها بموجب شروط وثائق تأمين الأمم المتحدة تصل إلى مبلغ قدره 400 851 137 دولار، وأذنت للأمين العام بالدخول في التزامات في فترة السنتين 2012 -2013 بمبلغ يصل إلى 300 421 131 دولار لتنفيذ أعمال الإصلاح.

41. Under General Assembly resolution 64/246, the Secretary-General may enter into commitments in the biennium 2010-2011 to meet unforeseen and extraordinary expenses relating to the maintenance of peace and security, and such commitments as the President of the International Court of Justice certifies relate to Court expenses.
41 - وبموجب قرار الجمعية العامة 64/246، يجوز للأمين العام الدخول في التزامات في فترة السنتين 2010-2011 لتغطية المصروفات غير المنظورة والاستثنائية في ما يتعلق بصون السلام والأمن، وفي الالتزامات التي يصادق رئيس محكمة العدل الدولية على أنها تتعلق بمصروفات المحكمة.

40. The Advisory Committee recalls that in its resolution 67/254 A, the General Assembly authorized the Secretary-General to enter into commitments in the biennium 2012-2013 of up to $6,063,400 under section 34, Construction, alteration, improvement and major maintenance, of the programme budget, for mitigation work, and encouraged all efforts to minimize costs.
40 - وتشير اللجنة الاستشارية إلى أن الجمعية العامة قد أذنت في قرارها 67/254 ألف للأمين العام بالدخول في التزامات في فترة السنتين 2012-2013 تصل إلى 400 063 6 دولار في إطار الباب 34، التشييد والتعديلات والتحسينات وأعمال الصيانة الرئيسية، من الميزانية البرنامجية، لإجراء أعمال التخفيف من حدة الآثار، وشجعت على بذل كل الجهود الرامية إلى التقليل من التكاليف إلى أدنى حد.

(b) To authorize the Secretary-General to enter into commitments in the biennium 2012-2013 of up to $146,421,300 to enable remediation work, and to request him to report thereon in the context of the second performance report on the programme budget for the biennium 2012-2013, to be submitted towards the end of the main part of the sixty-eighth session of the General Assembly;
