With regard to the issue of cooperation with other conventions and international organizations, the Conference, in its decision VII/26, welcomed the support of the General Assembly, in its resolution 58/212, for the ongoing work of the liaison group of the secretariats and the relevant subsidiary bodies of the Framework Convention, the Convention to Combat Desertification and the Convention on Biological Diversity.
