In the area of cooperation with the secretariats of other international and regional instruments, the following activities are proposed:

Recent examples include cooperation with the secretariats of the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, FAO, IOC and UNEP.

20. Rio Conventions. The Forum requested its secretariat to continue to further cooperate with the secretariats of the Rio Conventions in order to promote cooperation towards a comprehensive approach to the multiple values of forests and sustainable forest management.
