30. On taking office in 2007, the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity set about restoring the right to education, by abolishing school autonomy and re-establishing free public education without exclusion or discrimination, in accordance with the Constitution and article 38 of Act No. 763 on the rights of persons with disabilities, adopted in April 2011.
30- ومنذ عام 2007، بدأت حكومة المصالحة والوحدة الوطنية إعمال الحق في التعليم، والحد من إدارة المدارس بصورة مستقلة، وإعادة التعليم العام المجاني دون إقصاء أو تمييز، على النحو المنصوص عليه في الدستور وفي المادة 38 من القانون 763 بشأن حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، الذي اعتمد في نيسان/ابريل 2011.

(a) Ensure access to free public education and to primary and emergency health care for all asylum-seeking and refugee children on an equal basis with Egyptian children, including by amending the aforementioned decrees issued by the Ministries of Education and Health and by putting in place a comprehensive law on the status and rights of refugees;
(أ) ضمان الحصول على التعليم العام المجاني وعلى الرعاية الصحية الأولية والطارئة لجميع الأطفال طالبي اللجوء واللاجئين على قدم المساواة مع الأطفال المصريين، بما في ذلك عن طريق تعديل المراسيم المذكورة أعلاه الصادرة عن وزارتي التعليم والصحة واعتماد قانون شامل بشأن وضع اللاجئين وحقوقهم؛

CESCR and CEDAW commended DPRK for its policy, in force since 1972, of providing 11 years of compulsory free universal education, and welcomed the availability of facilities for working mothers.
