As its seventeenth session, the Inter-Agency Meeting on Outer Space Activities agreed that the use of advanced information technologies, in particular the Internet, should be further expanded as a means of strengthening inter-agency coordination and that the Office for Outer Space Affairs could serve as a coordinating node for accessing space-related information of agencies in the United Nations system.
