The organization of meetings was an essential function of the United Nations, and the Committee on Conferences, by striving for the efficient use of the conference-servicing resources available to Member States, could make a very important contribution to the sound administrative and financial management of the Organization.
وأضاف أن تنظيم الاجتماعات وظيفة أساسية باﻷمم المتحدة وأن اللجنة، إذ تسعـى )السيد مادنس، بلجيكا( إلى تحقيق الكفاءة في الانتفاع بخدمات المؤتمرات المتاحة للدول اﻷعضاء، يمكن أن تسهم بصورة هامة جدا في التنظيم اﻹداري والمالي السليم للمنظمة.
