Article 14 emphasizes the prohibition of discrimination against women in rural areas and the equal enjoyment by women and men alike of the right to participate and benefit from rural development.
فالمادة 14 تشدِّد على حظر التمييز ضد المرأة في المناطق الريفية وعلى تمتُّع المرأة والرجل على قدم المساواة بالحق في المشاركة في التنمية الريفية والاستفادة منها.

2. States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in rural areas in order to ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women, that they participate in and benefit from rural development and, in particular, shall ensure to such women the right:
٢ - تتخذ الدول اﻷطراف جميع التدابير الملائمة للقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في المناطق الريفية لكي تكفل لها على أساس المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة، مشاركتها في التنمية الريفية والاستفادة منها وأن تكفل للمرأة بوجه خاص الحق في:

14. Article 14: Measures to take into account the particular problems faced by rural women and the significant roles they play in the economic survival of their families, and to Eliminate Discrimination against Women in rural areas that ensure, on a basis of equality with men, that they participate in and benefit from rural development.
14 - المادة 14: التدابير الرامية إلى مراعاة المشاكل الخاصة التي تواجهها المرأة الريفية والأدوار الهامة التي تؤديها في تأمين أسباب البقاء الاقتصادي لأسرتها، وللقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في المناطق الريفية لكي تكفل لها، على أساس التساوي مع الرجل، المشاركة في التنمية الريفية والاستفادة منها

In article 14 of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (General Assembly resolution 34/180, annex) States Parties are called upon to take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in rural areas in order to ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women, that they participate in and benefit from rural development.
وفي المادة ١٤ من اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة )قرار الجمعية العامة ٣٤/١٨٠، المرفق( يُطلب إلى الدول اﻷطراف اتخاذ كافة التدابير المناسبة للقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في المناطق الريفية بحيث تكفل لها، على أساس المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة، المشاركة في التنمية الريفية والاستفادة منها.

States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in rural areas in order to ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women, that they participate in and benefit from rural development and, in particular, shall ensure to such women the rights set forth in subparagraphs (a) to (h). "

In article 14(2) of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, States bound themselves to take measures to eliminate discrimination against women in rural areas in order to ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women, that they participate in and benefit from rural development.
وفي المادة 14(2) من اتفاقية القضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة، ألزمت الدول أنفسها باتخاذ التدابير الكفيلة بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في المناطق الريفية وذلك بهدف ضمان مشاركة المرأة، استناداً إلى قاعدة المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة، في التنمية الريفية والاستفادة منها.
