In paragraph 2 of that same decision, it also decided to update the Consolidated Guidance every four years starting from the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties as an input of the Conference of the Parties to the negotiations on the replenishment of the GEF Trust Fund.

In its decision SC-6/20, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat to prepare, on the basis of the annex to its note on Consolidated Guidance to the financial mechanism (UNEP/POPS/COP.6/24 and UNEP/POPS/COP.6/INF/26), a complete set of such guidance, by incorporating the guidance set out in paragraphs 3 - 6 of that decision.
