As at 31 December 2009, an amount of $312,846, contributed by eight countries, was available to support the activities referred to in part 1 of the interim guidelines for the implementation of decision V/32.

وإذ يشير أيضاً إلى المقرر 6/14 المتعلق بالمبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني لمساعدة البلدان النامية والبلدان الأخرى المحتاجة للمساعدة التقنية لتنفيذ اتفاقية بازل،

(i) interim guidelines for the implementation of decision V/32 on enlargement of the scope of the Trust Fund to Assist Developing and Other Countries in Need of Technical Assistance in the Implementation of the Basel Convention;
(ط) المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني لمساعدة البلدان النامية وغيرها من البلدان التي بحاجة إلى المساعدة التقنية لتنفيذ اتفاقية بازل؛

1. Decides to amend the section entitled “Procedure” of chapter IV of part 1 of the interim guidelines for the implementation of Decision V/32 on Enlargement of the Scope of the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund[31] to read as follows:
2 - يقرر تعديل الفرع المعنون ' ' الإجراء`` في الفصل الرابع من الجزء 1 من المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني() لتقرأ كما يلي:

Decides to amend the section entitled " Procedure " of Chapter IV of part I of the interim guidelines for the implementation of Decision V/32 on Enlargement of the Scope of the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund to read as follows:
2 - يقرر تعديل الفرع المعنون ' ' الإجراء`` في الفصل الرابع من الجزء 1 من المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني() لتقرأ كما يلي:

The draft report therefore recommends that the Conference of the Parties consider amending the interim guidelines for the implementation of Decision V/32 (the section entitled " Procedure " in section IV of part 1) to allow the Executive Secretary to consult and report to the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties, instead of the Expanded Bureau, when providing assistance to a Party.
7 - ولذلك فإن مشروع التقرير يوصي بأن ينظر مؤتمر الأطراف في تعديل المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 (الفرع المعنون ' ' الإجراء`` في الفرع الرابع من الجزء 1) للسماح للأمين التنفيذي بالتشاور وإخطار مكتب مؤتمر الأطراف، بدلاً من المكتب الموسع، عند تقديم المساعدة إلى طرف ما.

2. In its decision VI/14, adopted at its sixth meeting, the Conference of the Parties approved the interim guidelines for the implementation of decision V/32 on enlargement of the scope of the Trust Fund to Assist Developing and Other Countries in Need of Technical Assistance in the Implementation of the Basel Convention (the " interim guidelines " ).
2 - أقر مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 6/14، المعتمد في اجتماعه السادس، المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني لمساعدة البلدان النامية والبلدان الأخرى المحتاجة إلى مساعدة تقنية في تنفيذ اتفاقية بازل ( " مبادئ توجيهية تقنية " ).

On sub-item 16(i) (interim guidelines for the implementation of decision V/32 on enlargement of the scope of the Trust Fund to Assist Developing and Other Countries in Need of Technical Assistance in the Implementation of the Basel Convention);
(ﻫ) مشروع بشأن البند 16 (ط) بشأن (المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني لمساعدة البلدان النامية وغيرها من البلدان التي بحاجة إلى المساعدة التقنية لتنفيذ اتفاقية بازل)(1)؛

By its decision VI/14 at its sixth meeting, the Conference of the Parties approved interim guidelines for the implementation of decision V/32 ( " the Interim Guidelines " ) and encouraged Parties and the Secretariat to keep working at meetings of the Conference of the Parties on the improvement of the existing mechanism, or if necessary, on the establishment of a new mechanism.
3 - وأقرّ مؤتمر الأطراف، بموجب مقرره 6/14، المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32 ( " المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة " ) وشجّع الأطراف على مداومة العمل في اجتماعات مؤتمر الأطراف على تحسين الآلية القائمة أو، إذا اقتضت الضرورة، على إنشاء آلية جديدة.

4. Urges Parties to provide contributions to the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund to support the activities referred to in parts 1 and 3 of the interim guidelines for the implementation of Decision V/32, Enlargement of the scope of the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund.
4 - يحث الأطراف على تقديم مساهمات في الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني لدعم الأنشطة المشار إليها في الجزأين 1 و3 من المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32، بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني.(2)

4. Urges Parties that are in a position to do so to provide contributions to the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund to support the activities referred to in parts 1 and 3 of the interim guidelines for the implementation of Decision V/32, Enlargement of the scope of the Technical Cooperation Trust Fund.
4 - يحث الأطراف التي هي في موقف يمكِّنها من تقديم مساهمات إلى الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني لدعم الأنشطة المشار إليها في الجزأين 1 و3 من المبادئ التوجيهية المؤقتة لتنفيذ المقرر 5/32، بشأن توسيع نطاق الصندوق الاستئماني للتعاون التقني.(21)
