32. It was reported that an ad hoc expert meeting on consumer protection was also held to deliberate on the United Nations Guidelines on consumer protection.

Appropriate conditions for child witnesses must likewise be provided, the confidentiality of their testimony assured and consideration given to the reunification of children with their families in their countries of origin in order to guarantee protection of the rights of child victims and witnesses in accordance with the United Nations Guidelines on Justice in Matters involving Child Victims and Witnesses of Crime.
