7. Except as otherwise specified in the present document, terms and phrases defined in the Regulations shall have the same meaning in these recommendations for the guidance of contractors.

6. These recommendations for the guidance of contractors describe the procedures to be followed in the acquisition of baseline data, and the monitoring to be performed during and after any activities in the exploration area with potential to cause serious harm to the environment.
