However that Convention did not impose an obligation to extradite or prosecute, but only required each Contracting State to take such measures as may be necessary to establish its jurisdiction as the State of registration over offences committed on board aircraft registered in such State.

Act No. 6 of 1994 on offences relating to the safety of aircraft and aviation was also promulgated. Its provisions are in keeping with those of the Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts committed on board Aircraft, to which the State of Kuwait acceded pursuant to Decree-Law No. 64 of 1979.
كذلك صدر القانون رقم 6 لسنة 1994 بشأن الجرائم المتعلقة بسلامة الطائرات والملاحة الجوية والذي جاءت أحكامه متوائمة مع أحكام معاهدة الجرائم والأفعال الأخرى التي ترتكب على متن الطائرات، والتي انضمت إليها دولة الكويت بموجب المرسوم بقانون رقم 64 لسنة 1979.

This Article states clearly that the Estonian penal law applies to acts committed within the territory of Estonia, and to acts committed on board of, or against ships or aircraft registered in Estonia, regardless of the location of the ship or aircraft at the time of the commission of the offence, or regardless of the penal law of the country where the offence is committed.

فالجرائم التي ترتكب على متن مركب نمساوي يمكن محاكمة مرتكبيها أينما وجد المركب (المادة 63 من القانون الجنائي).

183. The Agreement not only requires each party to establish its jurisdiction over the offences listed in the 1988 Convention when committed on board a vessel flying its flag, but also requires it to establish its jurisdiction over those offences committed on board vessels of other Parties or on board a vessel without nationality.
١٨٣ - ولا يقتضي الاتفاق من كل طرف أن يمارس ولايته القضائية على الجرائم المدرجة في اتفاقية عام ١٩٨٨ حينما ترتكب على متن سفينة تحمل علمه فحسب، لكنه يقتضي أيضا ممارسة الولاية القضائية لهذا الطرف على الجرائم التي ترتكب على متن سفن أطراف أخرى أو على متن السفن عديمة الجنسية.

84. The 1988 United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Drugs Convention) requires a flag State to establish its jurisdiction over offences committed on board vessels flying its flag.
84 - وتطلب اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية لعام 1988 (اتفاقية المخدرات) من دولة العلم أن تفرض ولايتها على الجرائم التي ترتكب على متن السفن التي ترفع علمها().
