وقد واظب مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية على دعم البلدان التي ترفع أسماؤها من القائمة في صياغة استراتيجية للانتقال السلس واعتمادها من خلال إجراء تحليل، يتم على أساس كل قطاع على حدة أو كل منتج على حدة، لمدى أهمية الإبقاء على صفة أقل البلدان نموا في استمرار التقدم في عملية التنمية.

The Working Group shall look at the process that leads to a smooth transition for graduating countries in general and make recommendations on how all stakeholders can contribute to making the process more effective and to providing additional incentives for graduation.
